MY! Mother's Day

Today, Sunday, May 9th, 2021, we make a toast to greatness, strength, power, and regal all in one crown worn by a mother. Let’s raise a glass to honor and celebrate all mothers around the globe for the significant role they play in society.

Dressed in dignity. Wisdom overflows when she speaks. Her stern look amends a mistake, a keen listener who knows what you want even before you ask. She can detect a lie from a mile away, she knows you more than you know yourself. As they say “mama knows best”.

She is our first teacher who instills discipline, good morals, and behavior right from a tender age. Inculcating best family values, nurturing us to be good ambassadors. She holds the greatest title in the universe. Which comes with great responsibility. Moreover, she ensures all home affairs run smoothly no matter her busy schedule. She loathes laziness as she does not tolerate idleness around her home. They call her blessed of the womb, the human race ever aborn.


Words alone can’t explain the depth of her love. A love that requires sacrifice only a mother can offer. Putting other people’s needs before hers. For her love goes beyond faults, knows no wrong, and sees opportunities in challenging situations. She shares a special bond with every child. A bond that grows through shared tears, pain, worry, smiles, joy, and laughter. Hides her pain while offering a shoulder to cry on. Truly, there’s no love greater than that of a mother.

Praise and adoration go to our mothers for the hard time we’ve put them through. For they never stopped believing in us. Her prayers kept us going through adversity. Mama, thank you for the guidance, thank you for believing in us, thank you for giving us hope and wings to soar above. We couldn’t have made it this far without you. Cheers to more life! Happy Mother’s Day Mama.
